Some one explain to me why wind turbines don’t cause Global Warming?
The process by which wind turbines generate electricity is that the wind turbine uses the energy of wind to turn a generator.
Therefore the wind turbine is altering the local climate directly by slowing the wind in its area.
Less wind reduces evaporation of water, less spreading of pollen and spores, less removal of heat from the ground, and so on and so forth.
Put up enough wind turbines and you are in essence building a mountain where there was none before.
How could this altering of the landscape not change the environment?
Wind turbines slow the wind which is causing extreme Climate Change.
Prove me wrong.
I read a article just this week about how night-time temps have been higher this summer, something I noticed too. It’s because of high humidity, heat island effect and a summer wind pattern coming from the gulf. For the last two months, we have not seen a night-time low below 70. Most nights, it only dropped to 72.
Of course, what caused it is irrelevant, it pushes the average temps a little higher, even though actual high temps this summer have been less than other years, or so it seems, from my observations.
The website WattsUpWithThat has done a great deal of research into the placement of the ‘official’ thermometers and found in many cases, thermometers that were in pastoral settings 20-30 years ago, are now next to parking lots, AC units and other heat sources - which of course gives inaccurate readings... but inaccurate in a GOOD way for the climate alarmists.

Agree.
And add that solar panels interrupt the sun reaching the ground. This will affect the ground heat profile and all the plant and animal life in the area.
