KEY TAKEAWAYS On Aug. 8, roughly 30 federal agents executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, the Florida home of former President Donald Trump—an unprecedented action.

There are likely to be many months of wrangling ahead between the Justice Department and Trump’s attorneys.
Well, it was quite a week! On Aug. 8, roughly 30 federal agents executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, the Florida home of former President Donald Trump—an unprecedented action.
While Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Chris Wray have acknowledged approving the filing of the search warrant application–which was approved by a federal magistrate judge–President Joe Biden has denied having any advanced notice of the raid.
The condemnation from conservative circles was immediate.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stated, “The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization.” He promised vigorous oversight hearings should Republicans take control of the House of Representatives following the upcoming mid-term elections, adding, “Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar.”
Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., the chair of the National Senatorial Committee, accused the Biden administration of going after a political opponent and said that the raid on Mar-a-Lago was “incredibly concerning” and “Third World country stuff.” Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., labeled the raid, “outrageous and unjust, but predictable.” Sen. Ted Cruz. R-Texas, said, “What Nixon tried to do, Biden has now implemented: The Biden admin has fully weaponized DOJ & FBI to target their political enemies.”
And Heritage’s president, Kevin Roberts, said, “The Biden administration and the D.C. swamp are making it very clear that they will use all the power of the state to intimidate anyone who stands in their way,” adding, “If they think they can treat a former president this way, imagine what they think they

DEMS ARE DESPERATE TO GET RID OF HIM.
It’s eating out the Dems innards Everytime they see another Trump triumph
-——endlessly winning Trump-endorsed candidates
-——thousands at Trump rallies
-——his own social media
-——knowing Dems/Biden stole the election
-——millions scorning the Biden/Garland/Fbi raid
——-BIDENS approval numbers in quicksand.
Hmmm...Hopefully Trump has learned his lesson but I don’t think so! The fact that he hasn’t asked the state governors in every state where he owns property for restraining orders against the DOJ and FBI is telling! Unless lawsuits against all players involved are imminent, there will be no legal precedent needed to finally put these a-holes out to pasture. This should be on the Supreme Court’s doorstep pronto.
Maybe they’re set up for the feds to walk right into a legal quagmire.
JEEPERS, Biden got 81 million votes /s.
Why doesn’t he hold rallies w/ a few 100 thousand of them?
TO SHOW HOW “POPULAR” HE IS......SNIX.
How many Dems requested an appearance w/ him?
How many dems has he endorsed?
Rotflol.
YOU COULD ALMOST HEAR THE JOKE WE HAVE AS A PRESIDENT BREATHE A SIGH OF RELIEF———the raid was showing us how “in command” sniffer joe is.
-——THEN there’s the tender photo op with the mini he/she/it baby,
-——-going on a “loving family” vacay, on our dime.........
———number one crackhead son acting fatherly......getting groomed to hold office
———Jill buying chp meat dressed in de la Renta
A done deal.......the raid was Joes coupe d’etat to finally trounce Trump
——joes “rising poll numbers” are already lined up,
——Dems are “winning”
-——joes “endorsements” being sought
———his “accomplishments” being invented
-——gas prices down
——zero inflation
.......except.......
Nobody on the turnip truck believes any of it.
Wet Work is next
Bttt
Pretty stupid for any Republican not to be all over this regardless of how they feel about Trump.
As soon as Trump is out of the picture and probably even before then these weaponized institutions will target Republicans. All of them think it will never happen to themselves.
The Whitmer flopola case was supposed to be a slam-dunk for the feds.
-——Whitmer weaponized the FBI informant-led kidnapping plot
——they attacked Trump in the waning days of 2020 election,
-——certainly Biden and the bureau’s intent.
-——They fabricated evidence to spy on Trump campaign officials
-——they kept the Russian collusion circus going
——while knowing that it was a fake Hillary-Democrat-funded opposition research project
-——The FBI has conducted many an election interference operation since 2016.

All Ron Desantis has to do is
———have a grand jury made up of true patriots
———have them indict FBI, Whitmer, Merrick Garland......Biden, etc
-——whether it sticks or not
———serve the damned thing
-—then let the feckless media ride it
Wray and Garland can't blame the judge and claim the raid wasn't their idea now.
For the first time in America’s history, a past President has had his home invaded/raided without notice by the government.
And we are told the sitting President wasn’t even informed this was happening.
Think about the ramifications of those two sentences, whether the second is true or not.
Voices of disapproval to the raid are obviously coming from terrorists.
Not a single Democrat would have ever uttered an unkind word had Trump sicced the FIB/DOJ on Obama.
And they opened up their arms and grabbed tons of stuff. They were just thieves and thugs.
A president is the great “I am” of federal document classification. He doesn’t even have to say that a document is declassified. He can declassify, upgrade or downgrade a document’s classification simply in the way he uses it ....or doesn’t use it. Neither Judge Reinhart, the DOJ, nor the FBI have any right to any of the documents they seized at Mar-A-Lago. If they found a law which says otherwise then the law is unconstitutional. Period.
Great article and great post.
Trump could have merely spoken the words that “all documents are hereby declassified” upon removal from the Oval office, or he could have written it on a paper towel of a New Orleans’ cathouse. It carries the same weight and the Constitution is on his side.
It was an illegal general warrant.
Second sentence “the sitting President”, ugh. If one says it or thinks it, it can’t be reconciled, it’s a lie.
