Wyoming Democrats Back Liz Cheney In Her Home County

WILSON, Wyo. — For much of the morning at the place where Liz Cheney was expected to cast a vote for herself in Tuesday’s Republican primary, there were more reporters than voters waiting to cast ballots.

Yet at times, the line to enter the barn-red community center in Wilson — a wealthy, mostly white enclave of fewer than 2,000 people at the base of the Teton Pass — extended nearly to the street. Longtime residents said they had never seen anything like it.

The voters who rode up to the city’s lone polling site in elite performance bicycles, Teslas and luxury trucks seemed mostly to fall into three camps on the polarizing issue of the day, Cheney’s reelection: Republicans who dislike Cheney and voted for her opponent Harriet Hageman; Republicans who admire Cheney’s resolve and bucked what seems to be the overwhelming sentiment in the Wyoming GOP; and Democrats who never voted Republican, but crossed party lines to support Cheney.

Teton County, home to Jackson, a new playground for the ultra-rich set against a breathtaking natural landscape, is unlike anywhere else in this heavy mining and agricultural state. It’s Wyoming’s bluest county, meaning voters here are more likely to be Democrats who voted for Cheney, an uncommon phenomenon that Cheney’s campaign encouraged.

Cheney never arrived Tuesday morning. The Jackson Hole News and Guide reported that Cheney had actually voted the day before at the Teton County Library.

Harriet Hageman is not running against Cheney so much as he is running against vote fraud. And this one is probably one that the cheaters are going to cheat a lot for.

Tucker brought up a good point tonight. How did Liz Cheney make $36 million in the past 6 years as a public servant?

Very few Republicans “admire Cheney’s resolve”. Yahoo just made that up.

He’s wearing a back brace, too

Don’t wish that on anyone, but it’s a good bet he’s not thinking clearly (age, pain, & meds). He shouldn’t be endorsing anyone in that condition.

Liz, you could have been a contender. Right Dick?

You had Darth Vader and the Death star rooting for you, and supporting you. Not to mention Hollywood.

Only thing I can say is...

Nah nah nah nah hey hey goodbye

That says all you need to know about Cheney. If the democrats are switching over to vote for her, then she is officially a democrat now, and marching to their orders. Which is “get rid of Trump at all cost”.

Foolish RINO doesn’t realize they will dump her in a second once she has outlived her usefulness.

The primary elections were supported and pushed by the Media, because it gave them another bite at the apple.

That’s why I have been warning everybody about a pre-mature celebration. This is going to be really close and very scary. If she pulls out the win forget it it’s gonna be hell to pay...She will be seeking vengeance from the people from Wyoming and the base! Bet on it!

Hogwash. Liz’s home county is Fairfax County, Virginia.

We lived in Fairfax County in the 1964-70 era.

It was loading up on liberals and pseudo conservatives at that time.

If I recall correctly

Wyoming does’t report results for each county until 100% of the precincts report in from that county

so there could be a lag

So, will Wyoming Republicans accept the candidate the commie RATS have chosen for them?
