Far be it for me to come to the aide of these idiots however I assume for security reasons the whole area was off limits to the public while Mr giggles was there so it wasn’t like the spots weren’t available for a handicapped person.
Having said that, it does smack of entitlement and insensitivity.

There’s that word again - “security”.
“Security” is the one commodity that people are always willing to give up their freedoms in exchange for.
In return for protecting us from various threats, we will submit to government officials, law enforcement, the military - and even the private security teams of celebrities - and give them power over us.
All they have to do is say the magic word “security”, and we will submit.
In this case, it’s not even our own security we are giving up our freedom in exchange for, but rather, the security of the worthless husband of some silly and illegitimate “Vice Resident”.
