Yes. They’ll get credit for all time served in federal custody from the day they were taken in. Then they have to do around 87% of the sentence in total with good-time credit. So for instance on an 84 month sentence, it would end up being around 73 months served in total which would include any time already served. So, if he’s been locked up for say 15 months, he’ll have 58 months to go from the date of sentencing. Hopefully that makes sense.
