Brewer was an OK pretty common sense establishment R-Gov. She acceded To Gov. from Sec. of State
She’s actually being goaded into denouncing Lake from peeps who don’t like Trump, since she was tight with establishment Taylor Robson.
She’s not actually offered an endorsement, but they asked. No one cares anyway.
I suspect if Kari showed Brewer what she’s seen re: AZ elections, Brewer would get on board.
That’s possible but I don’t see what Brewer has to gain with this statement.
It’s akin to asking someone if they still beat their spouse.
If Kari acquiesced then Kari is seen as weak and wishy washy. If she stands by her beliefs she loses Brewer’s endorsement.
Pretty easy choice from my point of view. I’m disappointed in Brewer though. I thought she did a pretty good job as Governor; especially standing up to the second worst mostly illegitimate President after Bozo Biden.
