It’s the legalized dope. Everyone knows it, including those whose addictions cause them to compulsively lie.

These Democrat cities are bankrupt and the city councils will pretend they're "defunding" the police for the good of the people which in a way is true: the city is so bankrupt that laying off city employees is going to drop the bond rating and drive up the cost of borrowing money.

These Democrat dumps stole from future residents and are now determined to steal from Red state residents via the Federal government.

“In 2014, for instance, Colorado lawmakers downgraded penalties for the theft of vehicles worth less than $20,000.”

Amazing. The penalties should be HIGHER for the cheaper cars, those victims often don’t have multiple cars, often only have liability insurance so no coverage for theft of vehicle, and don’t have the resources to just go out and buy another car at the drop of a hat, except for the “Buy Here, Pay Here, Get Screwed Here” places.

Democrats are making sure the lower class suffers more car thefts while the upper-middle and upper classes get hit less. The upper half tend to have garages, full insurance, better auto security due to better vehicles, etc.

Well, democRats control everything, so no surprise.

I'd like to know more about this:

Last year, as part of a “criminal justice reform” effort, the Colorado legislature amended the Colorado Criminal Code to allow many convicted felons — including drug dealers and car thieves — to possess guns. The move to rearm convicted felons was supported by the state’s Democratic attorney general, Philip Weiser,
