My sister lives in Texas. She tells me they are going to vote on seceding from the Union. I don’t know if this is just some symbolic gesture, but it will be interesting to see.
What the vote is for is to give Texans a chance to declare given an option would they support secession, YES OR NO.
The Texas Nationalist Movement has been going at it for 20 years to free Texas from the dictates of the federal government. We now have a clear vote at the Republican State Convention that Texas DOES have the right to secede and is supported by this party.
So a ballot initiative will put the question to Texans.
