Communists tried to EXTERMINATE Christianity just for even believing in a God at all, and have been doing that since 1789 (yes, Communism ultimately got its start during the French Revolution). I if anything have PLENTY of reasons to hate Communism due to being Catholic (and a Conservative Catholic at that, being more likely to side with Vortex or Remnant Newspaper than with Pope Francis).
