Most people’s idea of goodness are measured with an underlying “what’s in it for me?” evaluation.
That’s why, with the exception of a recent 77 year pause, the major powers of the globe have existed in a state of near constant war.
Only the rise of a world power dominated by the Judeo-Christian philosophy has managed to temper that inclination.
But leaks are appearing in the dike and the situation may be reaching a point of no return.
