Pretty much concur with this entire post. They want this war to continue. Incredibly, there is still no one in the US who is urging or even talking about a diplomatic solution. It’s just another $40 billion for Zelenskyy... because Russia.
I am utterly staggered that there has never been a serious push for some negotiated settlement. And moving Sweden and Norway to NATO is yet another stick in Putin’s eye. Sorry, but the US seems like a big bully using the little guy (Ukraine) to do the dirty work.
Again, no real talk or effort by the US to get this resolved. I don’t care how intractable the situation seems, by funneling many more billions and adding to NATO they are sending a very clear message to Putin and the rest of the world that they do not want a solution, their goal is to crush Russia. Is this our national goal? Sure seems like it, and I didn’t sign up for that!
All the US can do is make things worse.
