Remember when President Trump ordered the cruise missile strike on the Russian airfield and aircraft in Syria? There were complaints in social media, but they hushed up pretty fast. Shock and awe.
But we keep being told we mustn’t poke the bear!
If it’s simply impossible for anyone to poke the bear without provoking Russia into triggering World War 3, how come Trump got away with bombing that airfield? Why did that not trigger Putin’s rage?
Surely you can appreciate the inconsistency.
Maybe Putin’s only bothered by the bombing of Russian grunts if the guy ordering the hit is either a Ukrainian comic turned TV president, or a senile old stumbler in the White House...
