If he does indeed have a copy of the warrant then it makes it more difficult for the DOJ to alter before releasing.
Not saying they would not try, but it puts it on them.

I’m betting he has the cover-sheet type paperwork, but not the foundational affidavit(s) that are the basis for issuing the warrant.
That’s where all of the fun is.
