The Shepherd’s Crook, a strathspey, or slow dance in 4/4 time, is one of the more difficult Scottish country dances because it involves Highland dance steps that feature complex movements of the feet and sometimes even the arms, hands and fingers. But when it’s well-performed, as it is here, it’s a beautiful work of choreography.
