The US Justice Department announced criminal charges Wednesday against a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for allegedly trying to orchestrate the assassination of John Bolton, who served in senior national security positions during the Trump and Bush administrations. The alleged plot was "likely in retaliation" for the January 2020 US air strike that killed Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Justice Department said.

What is really stupid about this announcement is that it was made when the suspect had not yet been arrested. In fact, they don’t even know where the guy is.

“Oh, yeah. We’re tough. This guy wanted to bump off some government officials. Now you know. Uh, now we have to look for him.”

Another pretext for war, and coincidentaly Iran is buddy buddy with Russia and Turkey.

sarcasm follows.....Maybe we should go to war to protect the Kurds?.....

It is sarcasm because the Kurds deserve a homeland, and would fight to gain one. We PRETEND to be on their side, but don’t want to anger Turkey. If we really want to provoke a larger conflict, they may as well do the above.
