Simple solution to this. Abolish the Federal Dept of Education. Cut all federal funding of education, including school lunches and every program from every agency that sends money to schools. Then at the state and local level send education dollars to parents of school age children without any strings. Get government out of the education business. In the interim, homeschool your children. It’s a decision that I never regret. My adult children are surrounded by great friends. They are conservatives. They are successful. Most importantly, they are true believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It doesn’t even have to be done at the Federal level. States can operate without Federal money and entanglements if they choose to do so.
