In Minnesota's Fifth Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar faces a Democratic primary challenger in a race where crime has emerged as the biggest issue.
Omar's challenger, former Minneapolis City Council member Don Samuels, opposes the movement to defund the police and last year helped defeat efforts to replace the city's police department. Omar, who supported the referendum, has a substantial money advantage and is expected to benefit from a strong grassroots operation.

AP estimates 92.8% of votes counted:
Davis 4,531
White 3,465
Looks like Omar stays in the House. :(
The source at fox9.com has links to all Minnesota primary results.
A freakin’ Muslim “refugee” in Congress. No wonder nobody respects that outhouse anymore. It turned into a real Turd Wurld crapper.
Looks like Omar stays in the House. :(
Until MN gets an honest Secretary of State, Ilhan will continue to be in office. I’d like to count the real votes.
Also, why no news on the Hennepin County Atty race?
Minnesota is going to get everything they so richly deserve.
We will have to watch this pathetic woman Omar for as long as she wishes to remain a member of Congress.
Royce White is challenging her I PRAY he wins and this bitch loses her seat!!!
Like most blue states only the big cities are blue.
Those of us in rocks and cows county (what walz calls outstate MN) don’t deserve this.
He has to win the primary first.
The results were much closer than I thought! I thought Omar would get at least 70% of the vote.
Who is winning the Republican primary in the district??
I am not sure. It really does not matter.
Cicely Davis
She might have a bright future.
Dem combined vote is over 100,000, GOP combined vote is less than 10,000, not likely.
Close, but no cigar. Another 2 years for the Islamo-fascist poster child
Maybe not, but cities are where people live and their vote counts as much as yours, so until the trance of the democrat party is broken with these voters, you will continue to get it good and hard.
Preposterous
How is this part of our once great country
Take America Back and Make America Great Again
Maybe we could get the Dems who didn’t vote for Omar and see if they could vote for the Republican. I mean, 50,000 plus people voted for Samuels so maybe crime is an issue there.
I hope so. But the difference in democrats votes and republicans are way beyond doing. Omar would never mention running again and win. Democrats got over 100K votes. Republicans 10K votes.
