I thought electricity was free for electric vehicle owners?
Let’s see, they get subsidized for owning one, expect to charge free at work and expect electric prices to be lower at home because they use solar panels that cost them more then paying for the electricity from the utility but bought them because they get subsidized for that too.

The rest of us pay much higher electric rates.

I wonder how they choose which brands/models/years of electric vehicles to provide chargers for. I’ve seen charging stations that were all Tesla but even at that finding the right one for your year/model of Tesla must be way more annoying than simply finding a gas station where all the nozzles are standardized and you know you will succeed in refueling.
