All the “atta boys” she is getting are the real reason this girl is saying she’s a boy. She wants the love and acceptance of the adults around her. How sad that she has to pretzel herself, deny the sex expressed in every cell of her body to get people to cheer for her. What a destructive response by the adults cheering her on to self mutilation and a lifetime of pain & mutilation. They are anathema.
I wonder if she comes back and were to tell people “I want to be a girl again” if it would be encouraged - or discouraged - by the adults are encouraging his? Would they be disappointed?
