What is going on at the border is tragic, a humanitarian crisis. If I were in Congress I’d impeach and convict Biden, because it’s the right thing to do.
Read the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. Outside of certain, particular limited constitutional restrictions, all the states including Texas remain constitutionally sovereign.

Probably comes under the heading of "militia" which the Constitution generally supports. Go blast 'em with your hog-hunter AK 15's keeping in mind that we have a rogue, outlaw utterly unconstitutional regime running the show from the WH (Biden) and MA (Obama).
I see the purpose of Art. IV, Sec. 4 as more a mandate on the feds than a restriction o the states.
