Just think, had Bush lost, we might have gotten:
- huge expansion of Medicaid/Medicare
- massive intrusion of FedGov into primary and secondary education policy
- one or more trillion-dollar wars in central Asia for “democracy”
- government pushing banks to approve mortgages to rectify “social injustice”, regardless of ability of the borrower to make payments, leading to a financial crisis
- Attempt at illegal immigration amnesty under the name of “immigration reform”
- exploding deficits
LOL, reminds me of the joke, “I was told that if I voted for Goldwater, we’d have riots in the streets, and get into a long unwinnable war. Well I did vote for Goldwater, and darned if they weren’t right!”
