Except for atomic weapons, that stand a good chance. And, as pointed out, there is the Dam. CCP needs to sit quietly for awhile and count the cost.

The other day someone posted a comparison of the size and population of Taiwan today with Okinawa in 1945. It took us three months to subdue Okinawa and that was with troops who had been fighting for three years. Don’t know if the Chinese on Taiwan would put up the same kind of fight, but if they did, the Red Chinese might have a bigger battle on their hands. And, would the Republic of China try and take out the Three Gorges Dam if they were attacked?
