What a pathetic, useless, woke title. Upon reading it a person might get the impression the poor innocent boy died defending himself.

That's kind of been my observation for a while now, it seems to me it probably takes more effort to write such vague, confusing, or ambiguous passive voice word salad than it would to simply state the who, what, when, where etc. The reader is then left to try and reverse-engineer the report to figure out what really happened, and that takes even more effort.
