In a full page ad in Variety on Thursday, Governor Newsom urged film and TV productions in Georgia and Oklahoma to move back to California to take advantage of new tax credits and to film in the state that doesn’t limit freedoms, such as the right to an abortion.

which would extend the annual $330 million in tax incentives for qualified film and tv productions to 2030

Let's take $330 million from the little people of California and give it to Gavin's buddies the movie moguls.

A better question is why the taxpayers in Georgia and Oklahoma are subsidizing the film industry.

People here in Georgia just cringe when we see a California license plate. We feel endangered by thought they might stay.

if he’s running to unseat Biden it’s a curious strategy to attack states.

I know, it seems strange, to attack other states.

If he wants to campaign on a platform of, look what he’s done for California, and he will do for the nation what he’s done for California, it’s hard to see that succeeding.

It seems odd to me anyway, if Democrat powers that be, would push a California governor. California’s electoral votes are guaranteed for whoever the Democrat nominee will be. Wouldn’t a candidate from a battleground state, who can help carry that state for Democrats, be a better choice??

Or maybe the old rules about picking running mates to balance a ticket, and getting someone who can help carry certain states, just doesn’t apply anymore.

I do wonder, if they push forward a white heterosexual man such as Newsom, where does that leave Kamala?

Governor Newsom urged film and TV productions in Georgia and Oklahoma to move back to California ... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE, move everything from Georgia...TODAY...EVERYTHING...TAKE ALL OF THEM WITH YOU...PLEASE. I’ll help them pack and drive a truck full of their equipment out there for free.

Let’s take $330 million from the little people .... $330 million, Chump Change. Kemp, Ralston and the rest of the GOPe/RINO Syndicate in Georgia gives them $1.2 BILLION, a year, every year.

These people are nothing but whores, gypsies and grifters. Breitbart had an article yesterday talking about the industry doing over $4 billion in transactions in Georgia. I can’t speak for other towns or cities. When they film in places like Covington and Monroe, they have to shut down businesses depending on where they film. The businesses get $200. Of course, I could go on for days about how corrupt the tax credit is here in Georgia, where they’ve figured out how to make the taxpayer pay the salary, traveling and living expenses for an actor to come to Georgia to film something for Netflix. And Georgia won’t allow an audit of the program. Wonder why.

The other states should put together that campaign ad for Newsom.

This greasy bastrid's name should become synonymous with crime, homelessness and defecating in public.

If there is one reason I would want DeSantis to run in 2024, is so he could go head-to-head with Newsom.

In Georgia, it started out at $800 million and has risen to $1.2 BILLION, under the current Governor.

We’ve never been allowed to vote on it and they won’t allow an audit. But, like typical voters, the same folks continue to get elected and are allowed to maintain the status quo. They talk about all the jobs, most of which have gone to the liberal movie industry folks that have moved to Georgia from California and NY.

Many live out where I do. They happily talk about the industry helping to turn Georgia BLUE.

Earlier this year, a state Senator wanted to cap the tax credit at $900 million. Kemp, Ralston, Duncan, Miller and a few others went into seizures over the cap. A mere $300 million reduction. One of the local news stations did a story about it. Stated that over 10,000 jobs would be lost. I can’t speak for all Georgian’s, but if 10,000, or more, liberals from NY and California left the state, I’m celebrating.

On top of that, the House leader, Ralston, made the absolute ridiculous statement that it’s great having the film credit and industry here in Georgia, because if someone’s son or daughter wants to go into the business they won’t have to move to NY or California to do so. And he continues to be re-elected.

But, all of this is in line with the current crop of elected governments scumbags, in the state, that cannot say no to any liberal controlled company that promises 1000s of jobs. They want to turn Georgia into NY and/or California. Property taxes are going through the roof. Traffic is becoming a nightmare. Everything that people try to escape is being dropped on them like a ton of bricks here in the state.
