While Bush was claiming Al-Qaeda was defeated, while Obama said the same thing, troops in Afghanistan were provided daily intelligence reports that only mentioned Al-Qaeda. They were alive and well the entire time, but no one in the media dare mention their name.

China needs Russia for nuclear backup. Both countries (unlike the United States) have nuclear capable hypersonic missiles. Russia is particularly advanced in that department and has demonstrated that it has extreme accuracy in Ukraine in the only time they used it with a conventional warhead.
