Deep State will prefer WWIII to the disaster they face in November.

>>> "The Russian army should have had the entire Ukraine in three weeks. Four tops given the large disparity in numbers (troops, tanks, artillery etc). Our military would have had the Ukraine and the Crimea by that time." <<<

I'm sorry MK, love you dude, but here, you are talking out your a$$.

How long did it take us to "have" all of Afghanistan and Iraq? SHOCK AND AWE! A matter of weeks!

But our "control that was country-wide was only a millimeter deep, like morning dew. "Control" that disappeared every moment an American gun barrel was not aimed at a piece of ground. Every night in Kabul, for example, for 20 years, the Taliban ruled, not us. Our bases were forts, where Americans only sallied forth in armored convoys with air cover. For 20 years.

How are those glorious super-fast "victories" looking, 20 years out? Instead, Russia is "digesting" what it takes, kilometer by kilometer. Incorporating it. Allowing the civilians to get Russian passports. Paying unpaid Ukrainian salaries and pensions. etc.

If you want to compare our super-fast "glorious victories" in Iraq and Afghanistan to Russia in the Donbass, the true test of success will take a few years to evaluate.

Honest observers give no extra points for rapid "shock and awe" victories that evaporate like morning dew. What counts is who is running the place 10 or 20 years later, without needing forts and checkpoints and attack helicopters to dominate every grid square at gunpoint.

“I know it’s 2022 and they have built up the military, but I don’t think they have the stomach for a protracted war. I forget, what is the time frame of your prediction?”

China’s economy is floundering at best. They can’t get enough food for their troops. As of now, they are not a military threat. On the other hand, China thinks in terms of decades not weeks.

Your map reminded me of Fiddler on the Roof:

Tevye:
Where are you going?

Lazar Wolf:
Chicago. In America.

Tevye:
Chicago, America? We are going to New York, America. We'll be neighbors.

“Dr.” Jill, who has been whining about “crisis after crisis”, just joined Joe in the pants-pooping department.

We can thank the Biden regime, especially Victoria Nuland, Anthony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, and their neocon soulmates for their aggressively anti-Russian policies going back to the Obama regime, for needlessly making an enemy of Russia.

I don’t think anything will happen unless crazy Joe does something. Remember a few weeks ago stories came out about his staff going around him and he was pissed?

No, China isn’t going to invade Taiwan—Today. They will do it when they want. Blockade? Maybe? Take an Island or two to use as a base—Possible? My question: Where is the Pacific fleet of the Russian Navy? Where are the Chinese subs ? In a war—a real war—Russia might be more valuable than we think—to pin down Europe and the USA while China runs rampant over the Pacific. But, not to worry. The war will not be happening now—today. But the hoofbeats of the Four Horsemen can be heard in the distance—and their hooves are getting louder and louder. My bet—before the election in 2024.

I agree with most of what you said, but...

Let me ask you this question. The Russian army will control the Donbass and Lugansk regions eventually and attempt to subjugate the population with a “referendum.” Do you think that situation will be peaceful? That the shooting will stop?

No my friend, it will continue until Vlad gets his fill “terrorism” just like Georgia, Afghanistan and Azerbaijan have done in the past. Gotta love those Muslims. It will be festering for a long while.

Of course you are correct about winning the war and not the peace, but nation building is something we should have learned our lesson about long ago.

So when do you think the Chicoms will invade Formosa? I got a Benjamin.

“Russia Vows” is a lot different from “a Russian Senator says”.

Navy Nearing 1,500 COVID-19 Vaccine Separations
By: Heather Mongilio
July 27, 2022 6:54 PM • Updated: July 28, 2022 10:03 AM

This story has been updated with additional information from the Office of the Chief of Naval Personnel.

The Navy separated 259 sailors for their refusal to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last month, according to the Navy’s monthly COVID-19 update.

Of the total 1,466 separations, 1,121 are active-duty sailors, while 323 are reservists. Another 22 separations are sailors, who were in their first 180 days of service.

The Navy has the second highest number of separations of the Department of Defense military branches. The Marine Corps, which leads the services, has separated more than double the number of service members.

As of the last Marine Corps update, published on June 6, the service had separated 3,069 Marines.

The Army has the third highest, with 1,379 separations, slightly below the Navy, it announced July 22. The Air Force has the fewest separations at 834, according to its July 12 update.

The Navy is not able to separate any sailors who have requested a religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine due to a ruling in the Fifth Circuit. The Department of Defense has filed an appeal in the case, according to court records.

The Navy received 3,371 requests for religious waivers from active-duty sailors and 873 from reservists. The service has granted 13 religious accommodations to members of the Individual Ready Reserve on the condition that they get vaccinated if called to active-duty or reserve status.

It also granted 43 religious waivers to sailors who are the process of retiring or leaving the service.

The sea service also granted 19 permanent and 189 temporary medical exemptions to active-duty sailors. It gave three permanent and 65 temporary medical waivers to reservists.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020, there have been 102,697 cases of COVID-19 among sailors, according to the Navy statistics, resulting in 17 deaths.

There are 3,147 active-duty and 3,432 reserve sailors who are unvaccinated.

That’s possible. If the PLA was only issuing another empty threat, Biden might convince them to attack.

more posturing from Putin. his army can’t even subdue the 2nd rate military of a neighboring country (with good internal supply lines to the front). he has nothing left for China or anywhere else.

It would be fun to point this out to him but his brain is cancered out - who knows what he will do.

Given their problems with Ukraine I don’t expect anything more than moral support.
