Actually the article made it clear. Text messages from his own phone weren’t turned over as required.

OK....so all this....he’s not even allowed to mount a defense because of text messages....which as it turns out the plaintiffs had anyway?
I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous sanction from a judge.
