19 is a two-lane road, flat and straight until you get to the intersection with 119, which is a traffic circle.
Walorski was a Trump supporter on Capitol Hill who fought the results of the 2020 stolen presidential election. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy shared a statement from her office:
“Dean Swihart, Jackie’s husband, was just informed by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s office that Jackie was killed in a car accident this afternoon. She has returned home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. We will have no further comment at this time.”
My Congresswoman....she was a hard worker, always on the go and would show up at even the small events. A champion for the unborn.

Terrible news.
What a terrible shock. She was our representative and not only had common sense but was friendly, hard-working and conservative. She still kept that connection to home ... we even ran into her once buying garden supplies at the local farm store. Will be greatly missed.
As far as the accident, someone on the highway swerved into their lane ... in this community it’s entirely possible the other driver was going around a horse and buggy or farm machinery.
Prayers up for the families. She and her husband had no children. NOt sure if her mom is still alive.
One more detail ... she had been a Christian missionary earlier in life and planned for this to be her last term in Congress. Then she was going to go back on the mission field. What a role model she was.
