I drove a Pinto for 7 years. It never caught fire. I probably would’ve kept it longer if not tor the black vinyl top and interior and total absence of air conditioning. I lived in Georgia at the time.
My dad had a pinto wagon. It looked like the Clark W. Griswold wallyworld wagon threw up a Hairball.
Green and white plaid vinyl top, pea green metallic paint and green vinyl interior.....even as a teenager I was embarrassed as hell to drive that thing.
What ford was thinking when they designed and built that thing is beyond me......as well as why my dad bought it.
