lol a friend of mine had one of those corvairs- it was a nightmare- interesting though is they were made to ‘go anywhere’ - they had a commercial for it showing it driving through some petty gnarly stuff-

The fires in those cars seem to originate not in the engine but a braking component

The post made it sound like those cars were engine fires which started the thread. Engine fire in EV

This time the problem is contamination in the antilock brake control module that can cause an electrical short. This increases the risk of fire while the vehicles are being driven or are parked.
