They laughed at Trump when he tried to warn them...

This is exactly what they wanted to have happen under these circumstances, because they gambled that they tamed the Russian Bear as its slave.

Technically it will dry on no heat, but only barely. It's got that feature for delicates. It'll take forever to dry jeans or towels like that.

And I usually get a dryer for $50 at the thrift store. On average they last about 4 years, then I get another one. LOL

Dryers are very simple machines, particularly the older models. Two cost saving options:

1. Have the old dryer repaired, or

2. Buy a used dryer

For most of my adult life, I purchased only used dryers, while always buying new washers. The used dryers each worked great and lasted at least 10 years. Only last year did I finally treat myself to my first new dryer. I hope it holds up as well as my used dryers did.

It’s one small but symbolic step...

— Like everything the left does; symbolic, useless, yet disruptive. Turning out street lights is not going to offset the therms needed for home heating for the Winter.

Shut down their nuclear power and coal power in the name of global warming/climate change; depended on Russian LNG.

Just put on more cloths.....boy are they spoiled.

Clothing is not a carbon neutral product. Your choices:

  1. Cotton - prodigious quantities of water, plus fertilizer and diesel for operating equipment - of course we could regress to slave labor
  2. Wool - sheep? Sheep farts and they consume the biomass in which we are sequestering that dreaded CO2 poison
  3. polyester - petrochemicals anyone - are you kidding? Besides leisure suits are way out of fashion. Were they ever in fashion?
  4. silk - well we can cover the planet in mulberries and the elite can enjoy their silk undies. The peasants will go naked, but they can eat high protein cake made from bugs
  5. cowskin - there will be a glut of this until we slaughter all the metane producing cows and then this stock will run out.

Meanwhile, the heat on my 16 year old dryer went out. Can anyone tell me if it will still sort of dry clothes by air as it tumbles while I go figure out what inflation overpriced dryer to get. I am not pulling out the dryer and checking thermal switch yada yada yada. Cramped space. Just going to get a new one.

If it’s a gas dryer, it could be a clogged exhaust vent. The dryer will shut off the heat in a gas dryer if the vent is blocked to avoid killing everyone in the house with carbon monoxide.

This is all going to the “environmentalist” great plan. In the name of “saving the planet” they have stripped western nations of the ability to managed their nations.

Earth, a planet that has been around for billions of years does not need saving. Humans need to be saved from idiotic ideas of environmentalist.

thats sugar-coating it.......Europe risks freezing to death!

``````````````````````````````````
If push comes to shove they might try heating their homes with that evil coal or wood. Beats freezing.
I grew up with two parents and 6 siblings, none of us froze to death but we all sure huddled around that pot bellied coal burning stove on cold school mornings. The entire little town in swampeast Missouri where I lived smelled of burning coal, I miss it, to me it’s the smell of living.
It may kill me yet but I’ll never die young, I’m 77 now.
It also identifies who the crazy clueless people are.
Many of them are highly regarded political figures and or so called experts.
Although,it requires the people to be..at least.. partially aware of what is actually going on.
MESSAGE TO EUROPEANS
ENJOY YOUR "GREEN" LIFESTYLE FOOLS. YOU VOTED FOR IT
My sympathy meter for yirip is reading zero. It's going to be fun this winter
But what much worse is that Democrats in this country are steadfastly voting us into the same predicament. The same stupid fools who voted Democrat last time are going to go ahead and vote Democrat again. One of the primary characteristics of Democrat votes (aside from being as stupid as a box of racks) is: THEY DON'T LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES. Somehow Democrat voters are unable to connect their voting patterns with the government policies that are rapidly turning this country into a third world s**thole.
So while I blame the Democrat politicians, they would have no power and would still be swindling retirees out of their life savings if it weren't for the legions of halfwits who voted them into office. Most of the conservative columnists are predicting a "red wave" I don't see it, because of the fanatical loyalty Democrat voters have to their masters. They live in a fantasy world, and no facts or intrusions of reality can break into their smug self satisfied delusions.
" The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind."
H. L. Mencken
Yep. Just like the illegals.....shipping ‘em to D.C. and lettin’ the libs feel the pain is a brilliant move many here on FR had been calling for way before gov Abbott decided to do it.
``````````````````````````````````````````

Many of us were hoping that they would send them to Delaware.

But hey, there are plenty of them to go around!
