""One man showed up to the buyback with dozens of 3D-printed firearms, and Houston authorities had no choice but to accept them and hand over gift cards in return. The real kicker: it only cost the man $3 to print each firearm, of which he made 62, and received $50 per 3D-printed gun for a total of nearly $3,000 in gift cards. ""

Ans, the ‘mare’ now apparently approves of “ghost” guns and says they won’t be allowed next buy back. Headline: “Houston Mayor Endorses 3D Ghost Guns!”. 😂😂😂😂✌

The man was out to prove a point, and not to make a profit. Indeed he made his point.

It’s not just $3 in materials to make the 3D guns, but the time involved (many hours to print each gun) and time to assemble them. They’re non-functional so he isn’t breaking any valid laws.

Stupid politicians and leftist media, saying they want ghost guns off the street and out of the hands of criminals to reduce crime. Criminals are not the ones investing time and effort to produce 3D guns; much simpler to simply buy a functioning gun on the black market. Now those politicians say they’ll change the rules of the buyback to exclude ghost guns. Hypocrisy much.

I don’t buy this. It said the weapon must fire. 3D ain’t gonna produce a gun ready to fire right out of the box.

On Bluebloods show they said people bring in unusable weapons all day and get money for them. And the long lost actual murder weapon in their open case was not allowable in court as it was supposed to be “no questions asked” and not found with a judge’s warrant.
