If it weren’t for NATO countries supplying, training, equipping, and in the case of the US...giving the Ukrainians all sorts of cash...this thing would have been over long ago.
Zelensky and his wife are on the cover of Vogue. Interesting that while his country is at war, his people are suffering and dying, he and his wife have time for a photoshoot with Vogue. I can’t imagine that while your country is being destroyed and your military forces are undergoing massive attrition at the hands of Russian artillery, that posing for a camera is at the top of the list of things to do. But, that’s just me.
I’m not Putin fan. He’s a scumbag. But, no more a scumbag than Zelensky. Because, of course, no one can talk about how the people in eastern Ukraine, people more loyal to Russia than Ukraine, were being treated by the Azov Battalion.
Are you 100% right? I don’t know. Am I 100% right? No one knows, nor do you.
But I do know that if it weren’t for US and NATO support, money and equipment, this thing would have been over long ago. And the only people paying the price are the civilians and the soldiers on the ground.
And if things start going really sideways for Zelensky and Ukraine, he’ll be on a plane out of there, off to the UN to speak of the horrors of Putin and the Russians, again, while his country and people continue to suffer.

Despite all the posts and videos, the Russian army continues to advance. Speculation is that they will launch an assault from the western side of the Dnieper, and to prevent or stall that is the real reason for the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
One take away from this war is that fortified positions aren’t worth much if your enemy has air power, even if just to spot for the artillery. If you’re not mobile, you’re in the crosshairs. What I can’t understand is how Ukraine keeps soldiers in front line positions, considering the Russian tactics - and FAE weapons.
