US weapons fragile, expensive, and not up to the job
Lira talks about US in recent decades replacing good weaponns with BS weapons, e.g. replacing the A10 with the F35 ("flying pig")...
F Ukraine and Russia.
Beggars and moochers can’t be choosy
A-10???? WTF.
I have to thank Vlad for generating enough orders from foreign countries to drop the F35s per-unit cost so much that we can now buy hundreds of them.
The HIMARS seem to be doing a good job in the Donbas, and they and the Harpoons seem to have driven the Russian Black Sea fleet out of Crimea. And this is only a tiny part of what we could equip the Ukrainians with.
We’d see whom is “fragile, and not up for the job” if we stopped payment on the 68 billion we’ve sent.
That guy in the youtube is too un-serious and acting like an showoff rather than someone with a message he thinks is important for us to hear. I don’t even like the way he’s dressed.
HIMARS is getting hype because hype sells weapons. One cannot complain about that too much — unless one faces the reality that most buyers do so with US loaned money. This is why India tends to be such a big deal — they pay their own bills. But they don’t buy American.
To know what is happening in Ukraine you have to do several things. 1) Ignore anything from the Ukraine MoD not confirmed by the Russian MoD 2) Ignore anything from the Russian MoD not confirmed by the Ukraine MoD. 3) Ignore everything from any British source whatsoever. 4) Ignore everything from the Pentagon and US MSM. 5) Most particularly, ignore all bloggers and vloggers.
About the only thing we have to work with is the battle maps. They appear from several places. The reason they have value is if you look at Ukraine vs Russian MoD maps, they seldom disagree by more than a few hundred feet. Not even miles.
That’s it. That’s all we have. The rest is crap.
I have to thank Vlad for generating enough orders from foreign countries

Wait until they see the list of bugs and the very low combat readiness of that super expensive dog.
Older article - there is a recent one, but I can’t find it at the moment:
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3975970/posts
1) the incredibly poor performance of the Red Army and Russia's air force. Russia ought to have been able to force a capitulation by this point but has not;
2) After the initial attacks, the Ukrainians have defended with greater determination and skill than anyone seemed to expect;
3) both sides at the moment seem to lack the ability to advance and in some places the battles seem to resemble the great artillery duels of WWI;
4) Neither side has the capability of waging operational scale maneuver warfare. I wonder if we have also lost that skill.;
Point 3 I think has made both sides hesitant to press more offensives as the losses are horrendous. The Russians seem determined to keep what they have gained and the Ukrainians seem determined to take it back. We are gradually escalating both the quantity and quality of the weaponry we are supplying, but there is a hurdle to be crossed regarding logistical support and repair if we start giving Ukraine armored vehicles or aircraft that is difficult to go over. A negotiated settlement will have to be reached at some point, but will not be possible until one side or the other side (or both) are exhausted.
It’s been the same with every new major combat aircraft I can think of. I’m old enough to recall when the press called the F16 and F15 pieces of junk.
Gonzalo Lira is still alive??? I thought the Ukies captured and tortured him to death.
This guy is an idiot. He prefaces his video by saying Ukrainian soldiers have been forbidden to complain about foreign weapons then uses the A-10 and F-35 as examples, of which neither have been used in Ukraine and 99.9% of Ukrainian soldiers have never seen.
VERY INFORMATIVE video, thanks for posting!
Yes he’s an idiot clown.
All of your points are exactly what propaganda wants you to believe.
OK I will go to you next time I don’t want to know anything. Twitter is good on Ukraine if you can sift through it.
