Well, here’s one way to look at it:

You can hot-wire a Kia with a USB cable. That’s a design flaw.
But if you can hot-wire a voting machine with a USB cable, that’s a feature.

Not even analogous. You don’t even have to break into voting machines if you are working with the local election officials and coordinating with the DNC’s shadow groups. They’ll let you right in and your changes will be coordinated.

A usb hack into a kia/hyundai still requires you to enter the vehicle and break the stearing collumn
