I didn’t say he could/should or couldn’t/shouldn’t chime in. I said that doing so has no upside for him. Former presidents are considered a wealth of experience and it is obvious that Biden, and the left, are not only going to ignore what he says but make every effort to spin it into an attack on him. He still can run for 2024 and the left is going to use every piece of ammo, that’s their idea of BS, if needed, to destroy his reputation with the voters at every turn. So why walk into a problem that is none of his business having any statement about an overpaid basketball goon? It has no upside and has a real downside for him for 2024.
All it does is deflect the idiotic way of the Biden foreign policy even more than has already been displayed by giving them an “out” to offset the failure and give the media someone to blame for a first amendment right of opinion. And they will. Putin’s fuel problem and farmers problems, Biden’s gas prices blaming, I guess, God and industry for the ecology dangers. And a financial recession heading for historic lows within two years of and after possibly the most solid economy in our history. It’s always someone else’s fault but the liberals. And Trump and Putin are availablre and in the crosshairs.
