If anybody starts a nuke war it wont be the west. It will be putin.
Its just wishful thinking from the putards. Europe will get thri it and putin will be holding the empty bag.
Its putins dream of empire.
EU has fewer concerns than they indicate. They know that, in the end, the US will carry the burden of sustaining the continent as it did in the 20th century. America will be expected to make sure that the EU is fed and defended. Will there be enough real estate to build grave sites for American service personnel?
Marshall Plan 2.0
Why can’t they just distribute 200lb blocks of dry ice so the people can put them in their living rooms and create their very own Greenhouse Effect to heat their homes??
(There seems to be a lot of nascent desire for a world war)
I’ve noticed that too

Mother Gaia is a wrathful god and demands human sacrifices by the millions in the name of climate change.

sounds about right.
I do recall being told Gaia is a demon, but I haven’t delved into the topic.
Neither did any other piece of infrastructure we have now. They all got built. No reason to not take advantage of Russian idiocy and European demand.
Europe may pay some high prices this winter but that opens up a new market for LNG shipped from other sources.
The Europeans will want a diversified supply situation going forward. Do you think it would be better for the USA if we sold LNG from our fields to the Europeans or left that market for other nations?
Once Again, at this point it probably takes years to get the necessary permits and construction completed and get the facilities online and running.
I’m not even sure what your point is here, you keep moving the goalposts. There is no infrastructure or equipment or facilities or capability to do the things you mention. Not in the next 60 or 90 days.
I’m not “defeatist”, I’m just pointing out the reality. Frankly, I don’t think “we” should he selling them any natural gas anyway.
Sometimes people learn from their mistakes, sometimes they don’t, but they need to fully experience the consequences of their choices for it to really take hold.
It would certainly be a tempting target.
Weird.
Our exports were minimal until 2016 when an America First attitude arrived. Since then exports of LNG from the USA have grown continually, except for the COVID induced dip in 2020. Selling more LNG is a great way to move money from around the world into the checking accounts of Americans.
"The United States became the worldâs largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter during the first half of 2022, according to data from CEDIGAZ. Compared with the second half of 2021, U.S. LNG exports increased by 12% in the first half of 2022, averaging 11.2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d). U.S. LNG exports continued to grow for three reasonsâincreased LNG export capacity, increased international natural gas and LNG prices, and increased global demand, particularly in Europe."
That sounds like winning to me, apparently you don't like that kind of thing.
Our government should be helping our LNG industry to expand instead of what they are doing.
Nice chart!
But about your contentions we here in America should make up for the Russian natural gas deficits.
You DO finally understand and acknowledge there is no way to move any appreciable quantities of LNG to Europe in time for Winter.
The facilities, equipment, and personnel simply do not exist at this time, and they are not going to automagically appear in the next few weeks.
Right? Nod your head “Yes...”
Do you think that somehow Europe will go back to buying Russian gas in the future like nothing happened in 2022?
The opportunity exists for continued growth in US LNG exports. Getting our government to support that would be good for our nation.
But you don't want to sell US gas overseas, and you seem to think building new LNG export capacity is too difficult for us.
Dude.
Give it up. You’re just ... wrong.
It’s OK to have your own opinion, but it’s not OK to have your own set of “facts”. You’re going to have to get in your head. There is no physical way to transfer all that American LNG that Europe requires “over there” any time soon. It ain’t gonna happen. This isn’t “defeatist” thinking, it’s logistics.
LOL!!
If you want to talk about 2 years from now or 10 years from now, well that’s a different subject.
