The Ukrainians don’t use stinger truck missiles. The Ukes don’t sink Russian top of the fleet cruisers with aim and shoot Katyusha rockets. Those AWACS and those trillions worth of integrated command and fire control systems are just bought off the shelf and any boob can be trained to operate, program, deploy, maintain and fire in a couple of weeks? It’s a shell of it’s former self, the bulk of the 635 troops assigned to it is at Ft Knox KY, with a forward HQ in Poland.
It just restarted, I was with the 9th Infantry division when it was first reactivated in 1972 and it takes a while, in my battalion, there were only about a half dozen of us and I had to be battalion clerk until we could get a real one.
I was pointing out what Trump did and his moving V Corps to Poland, it makes it a lot easier to have the start in place, plus I enjoyed my time with them and am glad to see them back in operation.
I liked Trump’s aggression in Europe and NATO, he was strengthening it.
