Polish authorities must stop locking up migrants near the Belarus border and put an end to the “very different” treatment of Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian refugees, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on migrants’ rights has said.
Poland has faced attempts by tens of thousands of migrants and refugees since mid-2021 to cross its border with Belarus and enter the European Union.
Morales said these migrants and refugees, many of whom are from the Middle East and Afghanistan, were “routinely” being locked up in de facto detention centres in Poland near the border...

Polish authorities should tell the EU and UN imbeciles to take their advice and stick it where the sun don’t shine!
Poland to UN: Pierdol się!
The Poles, unlike the U.N., are not crazy and bent on destroying their own society.
Someone needs to tell Morales that Tusk is not the Polish PM that Radek Sikorski is not the Foreign Minister and that Poland is a sovereign nation.
The Poles are going to experience the blessings of the US, NATO, the UN and the GloboHomoNazi Oligarchs right up their rear ends, good and hard.
Not so different from the way any sane person will determine whether to open their door to a visitor or shoo them off the front porch.
Why?
Right, and they share a lot of values and history with Ukrainians. It is like comparing Scots’ immigration to the US years ago; they shared the language, often the faith, and much of the history of the founders.
How did these Muslim hordes get into Belarus? Did they just walk from the middle east, thousands of miles, to get to the Polish border?
Or is George Soros somehow involved with this, the same way he is funding the transport of millions of illegal alien welfare leaches into the USA.
I think Angela Merkel on some politicians in Scandanavia were long-ago secret communists and concocted the Schengen EU-wide immigration policy NOT for “humanitarian” purposes but in a direct move AGAINST their own peoples and societies, intentionally. Nothing else makes any sense.
True.
Any sane country which is interested in long term survival, will treat alliances, associations, and agreements between Nations according to whether they are likely to benefit or do harm to the host country.
Interestingly, it's because they are defined by the UN, US and EU as Refugees, in accordance with UN Rules and International Law.
As such they are allowed to travel through nations to Countries that give them Sanctuary.
Belarus and Russia obey these UN Rules, and International Law and allow travel through their Nations and across their Borders.
Poland, Ukraine and some EU Nations VIOLATE both the UN Rules and International Law, refusing to allow Refugees to cross the Borders of, or travel in their countries.
No. Poland must not stop keeping out rapefugees and letting in only genuine refugees.
Hint: middle eastern muslim males are not genuine refugees. Nor are Africans.
Do Belarus and Russia give these men permanent residence?
Ukrainians are similar in culture and religion and ar in a genuine state of war in their home country. mThe violent african muslims in Belarus are coming for free stuff, are not escaping war, and treat the local population like trash. They are incompatible with white western culture.
And legally a “refugee” is protected in the first safe country they get to and no further. Last I looked Afghanistan, Somalia, or Syria do not border Poland. Ukraine does.
It makes sense in the same way it does here in the US and Canada; these socialist systems (and we have many elements of it here) are pyramid schemes that require population growth to fund the freebies, and the native populations haven’t been replacing themselves for decades. The choice is clear; “Japanization” in which schools are converted to senior citizens housing (and the population is destined to disappear) or simply open the floodgates for anyone willing to come in at the lowest level of the pyramid to fill vacant housing, schools, and store aisles. With globalizaton, the West’s elites feel they must maintain (and grow) their herds of serfs to compete with the massive markets of Asia. The serfs aren’t just a workforce; they are consumers - so even if they are funded by gubmint wealth transfers, they are spending/consuming. The public employee unions are strong enough to ensure the top priority is filling the seats in schools with public education consumers.
No, and they are not required to.
They are required by UN Rules and International Law to afford safe passage (travel) and allow and implement safe Border crossing.
The Key is the fact that Western Nations have declared these people Refugees, and UN Rules along with International Law give Refugees these Rights, but not any right to demand permanent residency or citizenship in any nation that does not volunteer Sanctuary.
Nations cannot be forced to become Sanctuary states, they can only be coerced or bribed.
Those that signed up with the EU and/or NATO took those bribes and have been coerced on both counts.
Poland and Hungary have found out there was a downside to EU/NATO "perks", and a good reason for Russia, Belarus and other Nations to NOT declare themselves Sanctuary States, but Poland decided the solution was to whine and LIE that Belarus was "forcing" refugees to cross the Polish border, while Polish Border Guards committed Human Rights Crimes against the Refugees that they agreed to receive and protect.
GWBush hit the 5th rail of American politics with one good idea he had, which was to provide a different, defined contribution (not defined benefit) social security plan for younger workers coming in to the work force. Yes, there would have to be general taxes used to make up for deficits in the current ss plan, to cover benefits for those already in it, but in reality we are going to have to do that anyway at some point soon. In time, all workers would be in the new defined contribution plan and population growth or no population growth their benefits at retirement would not be affected by that.
The harder part is to ban (end - close to any new members) all defined benefit pension p[ams. It is defined benefit plans, not defined contribution plans that depend on new memebrs to help pay the benefits of retirees from the plan. With defined contribution plans, it is only a retirement account balance at retirement, plus mortality and conservative account appreciation factors that determine how much could be drawn from the retirement account monthly (or annually) for the remainder of the retirees expected life time.
If GWBush’s SS change had been allowed and if we could close all other defined benefit plans to new members, then in time population growth would not be a factor in the health of U.S. retitement funds.
Now then, as for Japan:
They recognize they have a low population growth problem, and they are looking at ways they can conpensate for it. I think they are very creative and inventive people and I think its possible that with some new ideas and tachnology they just might figure out how to have an aging population and still have a stable and prosperous economy. Surely “automation” and robotics (you don’t pay salaries or other benefits to robots) will likely be part of it. I think the world will be watching Japan over the next 20 years, to see how successful or not Japan is doing with its aging population.
