When price increases Threaten holiday shopping, when gas prices continue to stay high, when the war in Ukraine gets old....voters will realize that Moving abortion to the states is not to be the huge ‘inconvenience’ the left is screaming about. The only ones freaking are the insane tik tok’er types. They make a lot of noise, but are actually a fraction of society.
Every Democrat I’ve spoken to in person - is already fed up. Not once has abortion been discussed since that first week or so. What the news says and what is reality are two entirely different things.
It’s not about abortion. I agree with you. It’s just that people are not as mad at Democrats in general and as eager for Republicans in general as we here like to think. Dems are not in as bad a shape, and recent polls bear that out. Rasmussen is an outlier expecting the 2022 electorate to be 72% white. The rest assume it will be around 60% white. Hence the difference in the polls. I expect it to be the latter.
