But the migrants don’t know it, and the poor deprived white liberal denizens of Martha’s Vineyard need to have their lives enriched by more black and brown people. Indeed, this whole program of shipping migrants to places like Martha’s Vineyard, the Hamptons, and fire Island could be viewed as a tremendous cultural enrichment program for those who are currently deprived.
Ther have been Portuguese on the Vineyard for many years…..wouldn’t they be considered brown people by some.?
