Nice as that sounds, I’m sure you realize that civilians can’t just be deputized to chase mojados or for any other reason as long as we have a DPS, sheriffs and other local LEOs, etc-Gov Abbott is a real attorney-and a good one-he isn’t going to do something stupid for any points.
