Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is asking the National Guard to mobilize in an effort to deal with the migrants that are being bused to the city from southern states.
The mayor, who has championed accepting migrants entering the country illegally as a human rights issue, requested the DC National Guard be activated indefinitely to assist with what she called a "humanitarian crisis."
Bowser is asking that the DC Armory be used as a processing center and DC National Guard resources be used to help field migrants as they arrive by bus.
Migrants by the busloads have been sent to the capital by GOP governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona as a political statement over President Biden's handling of the immigration crisis at the southern border.
Bowser has vocally complained about the migrant surge in her city, suggesting those entering the country are being "tricked" into coming to D.C. but stressed it is "a federal issue that demands a federal response."

I doubt that mojados are stupid enough to buy into that-bus them to Nancy Pelosi’s REAL vineyard to work as ultra-cheap labor harvesting grapes for her real winery-they can always turn part of her ladeda B&B into bunkhouses for those workers-I think the grape harvest in Cali wine country starts pretty soon-August maybe?

Nice as that sounds, I’m sure you realize that civilians can’t just be deputized to chase mojados or for any other reason as long as we have a DPS, sheriffs and other local LEOs, etc-Gov Abbott is a real attorney-and a good one-he isn’t going to do something stupid for any points. I was born on the border and raised on a ranch in W Texas, I’m Native Texan and Hispanic-and we don’t want mojados in our state-so I do have some practical insight...

I understood during the Trump Administration that the President had to offer the use of the National Guard to the mayor and that she then could accept or reject it. Has President Biden offered the Guard to the mayor?

I heard that mojados are already being sent quietly to NY-by bus and plane-but I don’t know if that is true-NYC is such a huge place full of tourists from everywhere I suppose a few hundred Spanish-speaking people appearing there would not attract that much notice...

First problem: The drivers are going the wrong way. Have them turn around at the border and drive south an drop them off.
Personally, I’d like to see Texas declare that we are being invaded, and let the state guard deal with it appropriately with claymores and automatic weapons. The media would go crazy, but it would STOP immediately.
