Who the hell is moving from the US to Mexico City or even vacationing there? If you have ever even had a connection in the Mexico City Airport, you know that place is a mess.
I went to Cabo San Lucas in April. It was great. 75-80 degrees every day. 50% humidity. The people are very friendly. It is one of the safest places in Mexico. I probably will go back next year.
This was just at the end of covid. There were three cruise ships in port the next day (Sunday). After that hardly any.
The only issue was getting through customs going into Mexico on a Saturday afternoon at 1pm. That is because most of the time shares in Cabo run from Saturday to Saturday. There were a bunch of planes that all arrived at the airport in the same 2 hour period. More than they had gates for. More than the customs agents could handle. It took over an hour to get through customs including picking up your luggage.
