Annoyed by the immigrants speaking English? A bit like Americans are annoyed at hearing Spanish. I'm an equal opportunity annoyer. My favorite taco shop in San Diego decided that speaking Spanish to me was a great idea (after patronizing the place for over a year with the same staff in English). I placed my order in Welsh. The staff looked perplexed. I suggested that since we both speak English, that would be a suitable compromise. I could have placed the order in German if that wasn't acceptable. The objective was to communicate the order for food their are selling.
