I seem to remember at least one other time the Russian Army was trapped like rats, with a river to their back. I believe it was Stalingrad, didn’t work out to well for the Germans.

—”Stalingrad”

And from that location, the ‘Homeland-Mother Is Calling!’.

Sadly today she weeps for what may be the end of Russia.
A country rich in natural resources can not support its war on Ukraine.

Even if Putin can complete his Holodomor II and all Ukrainians are dead or gone, he lacks the resources to hold and develop the land while fighting a guerrilla war.
Who would farm the land? The old free land deal? For his pet Muslims?
Russia cannot exist on the charity of the Chinese, for they have NONE for the Russians.
The Euros sucking up Russian natural resources? Short-term at best. Take a look at the genesis of French nuclear power.

And so much more ...Mother Russia weeps.

Walking the 200 steps up to Mother Russia was high on my list/ in the past. Pavlov’s house too.

OH! Back in the day, the Russians controlled the east side of the Volga and the ferrys and so much more.

Being an occupier is different from defending own country.

It is very important for the peace in Eastern Europe to defeat Russia in their efforts to conquer Ukraine.
