Same Steve Van Zandt who claimed that the E-Street Band ‘Doesn’t set ticket prices’ when many other artists have, and continue to do so. But at least this is within the bounds of acceptable political gamesmanship.
He's not wrong.
The E-Street Band doesn't set ticket prices. Bruce Springsteen does.
There was a bit on the radio yesterday about “dynamic pricing” used for this losers concerts. There’s also an article behind the paywall at the commie NYT about this too. It seems there’s some venues that are charging 5k per seat and if you want drinks with that it will cost you another 2k.
Here’s a link to an article that makes apologies for the loser, even throws into the mix, he’s a grandfather now! WTF? https://consequence.net/2022/07/ticketmaster-bruce-springsteen-pricing-tickets/
I went to a Steely Dan minus Walter Becker concert a couple of months ago and paid $150.00 per ticket and thought I would never do that again. Even though Donald Fagen and his group were fabulous. Fagen at 73 still has most of his voice an energy to put on a damn good show for 2.5 hours.
7K to drink and listen to this puke is INSANE.
