This make sense when there is real fair competition among web sites.

However, there are a few web sites with billionaire owners who have a de facto monopoly over speech—they “own” the public square.

It took Teddy Roosevelt to recognize the reality of the monopolies of his day and deal with them harshly.

We need a Teddy Roosevelt today to take on the Big Tech monopoly mind-controllers—and destroy them.

You post freely on FR; though, the mods may delete one of your comments if it does not comply with TOS. That is FR’s right. There are other web sites like FR. You can post to your heart’s content. You are not limited to Facebook or Twitter or You Tube, etc.

Times are quite different than in TR's day but we had such a guy - Trump and most of the controllers of the world ganged up to rid themselves of him so their various bureaucracies and avenues of power and revenue would remain intact.
