Former President Donald Trump, while speaking in the border state of Arizona, said his administration "created the safest border in the history of our country," but under President Joe Biden, "we have the most unsafe border in the history of our country and I believe in the history of the world."
"You're talking about millions and millions of people coming in unvetted, coming in from jails from 141 different countries," Trump said in his Prescott Valley "Save America" rally Friday night. "What they're doing to our country is ruining it. They're poisoning our country."
Trump pointed out that his administration "deported record numbers of illegal aliens and gang members and we built hundreds of miles of border wall. In fact, we completely finished our original plan despite 2.5 years of Democrat-inspired lawsuits. They sued me from Day One on the wall, 2.5 years in court. We won every one of them. We finished the wall and then we added much more wall."
And it would have taken only three more weeks to complete the remaining portion of the wall, said Trump.
He also offered his thanks to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who "gave us 28,000 soldiers free of charge."
"We had a great relationship on the border with Mexico for the first time," said Trump. "Now you see what's happened. That whole relationship is gone and people are flooding us ... I said to Mexico, 'We need your help.' And they said, 'No, I'm sorry. We can't do that.' I said, 'Good, then I'm going to charge you 25% tariffs on all of the things that you make, including cars that are pouring into our country.' And they said, 'On the other hand,' they said, 'We would love to help you. We would really love to.' So they gave us 28,000 soldiers."

Too bad the wall didn’t get built.
Republicans are why we do not have a completed fence.
They fought Trump but gave Senile Joe his Biden Boondoggle Bill.
bttt
Not Republicans only Rinos and democrats with a desire for treason it’s why they are helping China in every way possible.
Assistant Democrats are the majority of Republican officeholders.
145 GOP House members voted for Liz Cheney in Feb 2021.
Nineteen GOP Senators voted to give Senile Joe his Biden Boondoggle Bill worth trillions, when they refused to give Trump money for the fence.
Again they are not Republican officeholders Rino officeholders infestation works that way purging is the only cure however the problem is for people to see the problem when they vote.
Biden didn’t get 81 million votes but did get a hell of a lot of votes by the fools to dumb to see what they voted for.
Most of the 145 Assistant Democrats that voted for Liz Cheney will be re-elected, as will Amnesty Senators Hoeven and Rubio.
He managed to overcome a GOP set of Senators and Congressmen, Democrats, and the Courts and still got 400+ miles of fencing built without a GOP-controlled congress providing the funding.
Funny how previous presidents, regardless of party, managed to get at least their own party on board with their agenda. Trump tried to run the government like a business and it shows. In business the CEO tells his subordinates what to do and if he also insults them on Twitter that's just too bad for them. Politics requires the president to compromise and deal with members of his own party as equals. Trump has a lot of great ideas and I think he's a great kingmaker, but he got in over his head.
That alone demands our respect and adoration.
So if I tell my boss that I will build X number of widgets per hour and I only build a fraction of that number, do I also deserve my boss's "respect and adoration" if I encountered more obstacles than I expected? Remember, the President is an employee of We the People. Incidentally, if my boss discovered that while I fell short of my widget-building goal I always found time to insult my coworkers on Twitter, do you think my employment contract would be renewed?
My respect is earned with results, not excuses. As for adoration, I tend to reserve that for God and dogs, so it's nothing personal against Trump.
Bookie not taking that bet bad odds.
