Biden is an avatar for whomever is really running the white house.
The point of this is that the drilling permits are already gone, this is the perfunctory notice being given.
They are intending to break the oil industry beyond repair.
I figure it’s a workaround for the real reason. Since Biden can’t just revoke permits willy-nilly for carbon reasons (SCOTUS), he’ll just invent a new reason: alleged price gouging.
